MOUNT TYGARD CLAW
A Beverage and Grocery Clamp
The
objective is efficiency in layer picking. Efficient handling
means quickly lifting layers of product to build mixed pallet
loads. Supermarket warehouses and distribution facilities
can benefit from speed and versatility the Tygard Claw offers.
- A
side-mount configuration Tygard Claw is actually mounted
counter balanced on the front of the forklift truck, off
center to the left (or right upon request).
- The
side-mount claw mounted on a forklift truck operates efficiently
and most effectively in a picking street. A Guide
Rail System is needed to guide the forklift truck along
a metal rail of approximately 100 feet long. The operator
just moves his truck forward and reverse safely, picking
and stacking product that is kept evenly aligned with the
truck by the same guide rail.
- The
operator positions the claw over the pallet load, using
when necessary the build-in side shifter. The four arms
are lowered on each side of the pallet load, picking the
required flavor and placing the full layer(s) onto the build
mixed pallet.
- Shrink-wrapped,
crated, boxed, PET or cans, and even glass products are
safely and securely handled by the gentle grip of the four
rubber coated paddles.
